RadioActive.FM is an alternative radio station broadcasting in Wellington, New Zealand on 88.6FM and online. Established in 1977 as the student radio station for Victoria University of Wellington, it is the longest serving FM broadcaster in New Zealand. The station features a wide variety of music from over 100 volunteer DJs, with specialist shows covering everything from African Samba to Swedish Metal, and a strong focus on New Zealand alternative music.
