Radio Control 99.4FM is Palmerston North's student radio station, broadcasting from Massey University's Manawatū Campus since 1981. The station plays alternative music, focusing on up-and-coming artists and local New Zealand music, with a mix of volunteer-hosted shows and special interest programmes.
