Radio Waatea is Auckland's only Māori radio station, providing an extensive bilingual broadcast in English and Te Reo Māori. Based at Ngā Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, the station delivers news, current affairs, talk radio and an eclectic mix of contemporary R&B and old school music, aimed primarily at a 35+ Māori audience.
